Areas affected by global tourism
Since always, global tourism affects many kind of areas. The environment, local economies, international understanding and a lot of other areas are, by a good or bad way, affected by global tourism.
The main area affected us 'local economies'. More the tourists come in each country, more these countries can earn money. A lot of cities in the world can survive just because of tourism. For example, in Swiss mountinas, cities live only during winter. Theyopen shopswith all the moutiain articles, chaltes are all booked and the ski pistes are opened. Tourists from all around the world come to ski or board in Swiss mountains. Comaratively other cities live only during summer. For examples places with lake, sea or ocean. If by reason or another, people would not come in these differents anymore, cities or countries will lose a lot of money and won't survive anymore.
Secondly, international understandnigs are also affected by global tourism but in a different way. Usually people like to travel to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places or importants monuments. It's common to spend holidays in other countries. Sometimes it's just to relax, or just to enjoy, but always to see or learn something new about other cultures. What is better than meeting people from other countries, and learning about their lifestyle, religion or ways to live. I think that it is really important for everyone to travel around the world and to increase their international understanding.
In conlusion, I would say that global tourism affects differents areas by a more or less good way but also that countries need it to survive and that people need it to improve their international understanding.
